Groovyloops is a professional creative royalty free media archive specialising in music production for broadcast, non-broadcast media and multimedia productions. We also produce royalty free stock video footage and video for projection and performance artists. We are constantly expanding our online archive.
What is royalty free music?
Quite simply put, Royalty free music is music that you buy a one-time license to use the music as many times as you want. There are no ongoing royalty obligations after you purchase the license. IMPORTANT – You need to read the full license agreement about the specifics of how you can use you’re royalty free music.
Is the Music Copyright Free?
No, Royalty-free and copyright free are two different things. The copyright still belongs to us, what you buy is a royalty free license to use the music in your media and multimedia productions etc. Copyright free means you could buy the music and then re-distribute it ‘as is’ commercially as your music, this is not allowed with Royalty free music.
Can I listen to the music online before I purchase it?
Yes, but you will need the flash plug-in available for free download. All the files for preview are encoded in low quality for demo purposes. The files are also digitally watermarked to protect us from illegal usage of our royalty free music.
What Royalty free music styles do you produce?
We have a wide range of styles available online now ready for you to download immediately. Have a browse around our store and demo the music to see if it suits your needs. We will be adding more styles and genres and adding more products to our existing royalty free categories in due course.
Can I download the files I want straight away?
Yes you can, every file is available for immediate download.
What format are the downloaded files in?
The downloadable royalty free music files are in standard .wav format to ensure the best possible audio quality, all files are CD quality 44.1Khz 16Bit Stereo files. Files are compatible with all operating systems, including Windows and Mac.
Are the files that I download compressed or “zipped”?
Yes they are, they are in .zip format, this does not effect sound quality and makes your downloads smaller and so quicker. You can download a free unzipping utility called coffeecup free zip wizard by clicking here. Or you can download a trial from winzip by clicking here. MAC user can uncompress the zip files by downloading stuff it by clicking here.
How can I pay for my purchases?
At this present time we are accepting payment through paypal, you do not need to have a paypal account to place an order with us, although paypal act as our payment processor you can still pay using your credit card with paypal.
How does Paypal work?
Once you have filled out your shipping details on our website and click submit you will be redirected to Paypal secure servers. You do not need to be a registered paypal user to order, but if you do wish to signup with paypal it is entirely free.
If you are a register PayPal user you can use express checkout which makes for a much quicker purchase process.
Are my Payments/Credit Card Details Secure?
Yes, we don’t take any credit card details here at groovyloops.com at all so we never see your credit card details. We leave that to paypal . Paypal have been around as a payment processor for a long time and have some of the most secure servers in the business so you can rest assured that your credit card details are safe when shopping here at groovyloops.
Can I return products I purchased and downloaded but don’t want anymore or bought by mistake?
No, due to the nature of the royalty free digital products, we do not allow for the return of products, all sales are final. We provide means for you to preview all of our products online prior to purchase so we believe that returns should not be an issue for you.
I did not receive my music file's, what can I do?
Once you have completed the order process, you should be redirected to a page with a link to your downloads, or you can download later (up to 3 days later). Your download details will be sent to you in an email with your purchase receipt to the email address you entered during the transaction process. If you do not receive an email check that your email address was correctly spelled. If you have not received your confirmation email within 30 minutes of order email us immediately and we will investigate the issue for you, if required, we will email you a direct link that will be available for 72 hours.
